EDIT: I was going to leave it at that, but I want to introduce it with something more. This for me, is to do with mental illness and the confusion that it causes at times. If you suffer from mental health issues, please look around you, there is help everywhere, you just need to believe it truly can help, because I promise you, it is not always like this.
Today’s Face
How can I feel both elation and misery?
How is it that I feel both distraught and inspired?
Why is it that I feel like broken glass,
Cracked and defaced but still occasionally reflecting the suns glow?
It is like I have found both
My soulmate and adversary.
Yet neither fully belong to me.
They’re just existing,
Inside a body I’m not sure is mine.
